This Privacy Policy describes how Insureagent LLC (“Insureagent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit our website, complete a qualifying form, or speak with one of our licensed insurance agents.

We collect the following categories of personal information directly from you when you submit our qualifying form:

• Identifiers — full legal name, date of birth, email address, phone number, mailing/property address.
• Insurance-relevant disclosures — citizenship/ITIN status, mortgage status, mortgage balance/payment range, household income range, beneficiary designation, employment status, smoker status, prescription count, self-reported health conditions, existing life insurance status, and how urgent the matter feels.
• Consent records — your TCPA consent submission timestamp, the exact text you agreed to, your IP address, and the user agent of the device used to submit.
• Call recordings and transcripts — if you speak with a licensed agent, the call may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and compliance.
• Online activity — pages viewed, form interactions, click events, and basic technical data (IP, user agent, referring URL, UTM and ad-network click IDs such as gclid, fbclid, ttclid) collected via first-party cookies and our own server logs.

We do not ask you to enter your Social Security Number, driver’s license, or banking information through this website. Those details, if needed, are collected by the carrier during the application phase using their own secure portal — not stored long-term in our systems.

We use your information to:

• Match you with a licensed insurance agent in your state who can quote mortgage protection coverage.
• Place outbound calls and send SMS or email about mortgage protection and life insurance options, in accordance with the consent you provided. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text, by emailing privacy@insureagent.io, or by calling (813) 540-9605.
• Determine eligibility, suitability, and recommended coverage type, including the maximum premium permitted under our internal suitability calculation.
• Improve our marketing, our agent training, our website, and our ability to serve consumers — including measuring which ads and creatives produce the highest-quality, most-relevant matches.
• Comply with legal obligations, including state insurance regulator recordkeeping, TCPA consent retention, and recorded-line disclosure requirements.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing.

• Licensed insurance agents and carriers — to quote, underwrite, issue, and service the coverage you request.
• Service providers acting on our behalf — telephony (Twilio), transcription (Deepgram), database/hosting (Supabase, Vercel, Fly.io), analytics, and email/SMS delivery, each bound by contract to use the data only to provide their service.
• Advertising platforms — when you submit our form, we may send a hashed, irreversible record of the conversion (and a hashed copy of your email and phone, where the platform requires it for measurement) to Meta’s Conversions API and Google Ads Enhanced Conversions for Leads. This is used solely to attribute the lead to the ad you saw, not to enable third-party retargeting outside our own funnel.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to enforce our Terms.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice.

We use first-party cookies (such as mp_sid, mp_attribution) to maintain your session, run A/B tests on our own pages, and remember which advertisement first brought you to our site so we can attribute and improve our marketing. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request from California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you and why.
• Request a copy of that information in a portable format.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information, subject to exceptions for records we are required to keep (such as TCPA consent logs and recorded-line records).
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — we do not engage in either, but you may still submit a request.
• Withdraw consent to be contacted at any time by replying STOP, emailing us, or calling us.

Calls between you and our licensed agents are recorded for quality, training, and compliance purposes. The recorded-line disclosure is played at the start of every call.

By submitting our form and checking the consent box, you give Insureagent LLC and its licensed insurance agents your prior express written consent to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided — including by automated telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, text or SMS messages, and email — for the purpose of discussing mortgage protection and life insurance, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is NOT a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations (including TCPA, state insurance regulator, and recorded-line retention rules), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Sensitive identifiers such as Social Security Numbers, driver’s license numbers, and full banking information are not stored in our systems; they are submitted directly to the carrier’s portal during application and retained according to that carrier’s own policies.

We use encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging of access to personal information, and require contractual data-protection commitments from our service providers.

Our website and services are intended for adults purchasing insurance products for themselves and their households. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via our website and, where required by law, by direct notice.
